Job Description

Yard Helper needed in the Willis, TX area! **Please note that this is more clerical/admin with forklift responsibilities as needed** - this position will require working outdoors

Receiving: Process inbound material; remove and dispose of packing/shipping materials used to transport pipe; verify and document heat numbers and other identifiable information listed on inbound material; use bills of ladings and mechanical test reports to verify material; measure and document the length of pipe; enter pipe information into SAP system via iPad; maintain cleanliness of yard and shipping area.
Maintain inventory: Update and maintain stock inventory locations via SAP; make updates and corrections and verify material information as necessary.
Shipping: Locate and tag stock material scheduled for shipment; assist forklift operators by “spotting” during loading and unloading operations; use iPad with SAP to document all loads by taking pictures and scanning barcodes of all outbound material.
Some knowledge of basic math and familiarity with fractions and decimals.
Ability to read or learn to accurately read an engineer’s tape measure.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with tablet devices.
Willingness to be trained on the safe operation of power and hand tools.
Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work and continuously walk outside in dusty environments.
Ability to operate forklift

Payrate--$15-$17 / DOE
