Job Description
Yard hand and operations helper roles in Navasota, TX involve outdoor material handling, general site maintenance, and inventory support.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Assist with loading and unloading forklift trucks, break bundles, place stripping between layers at storage racks, and apply ID stickers to products.
- Yard Maintenance: Perform weed control (cutting and spraying), pick up trash, and maintain general cleanliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs; comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain one) and compliance with I-9 employment verification and drug screen.
- Work Ethic: Strong safety awareness, punctuality, and a willingness to follow verbal and written instructions.
