Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Designer / Technician to design, build, and wire custom mechanical and electrical systems. Perfect for someone who loves both office and shop work — creating drawings, wiring panels, and ensuring systems are built correctly from start to finish.

Work closely with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy, safety, and quality. Grow your technical skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment!

Responsibilities

Create and update electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
Size wiring, breakers, and electrical components based on load and code
Wire and assemble control panels, conduit, and field devices
Assist with system layout, labeling, and functional testing
Troubleshoot basic electrical issues as needed
Collaborate with engineers and fabrication crew
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

Basic understanding of electrical design and wiring principles
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Comfortable using hand tools and working safely in a shop environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and be a team player
