We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring that all plant equipment, systems, and infrastructure operate efficiently and with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a wide variety of industrial machinery and facility systems, including but not limited to conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, electrical panels, PLCs, and HVAC systems.
• Lead or assist in diagnosing equipment failures, identifying root causes, and implementing effective repairs to minimize recurrence and ensure long-term reliability.
• Conduct and oversee maintenance process audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance protocols to streamline operations and increase uptime.
• Perform routine maintenance inspections, monitor performance of critical systems, and proactively address potential failures.
• Respond rapidly to major equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls to restore production quickly and safely.
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to plan and execute equipment installations, system upgrades, and facility expansions.
• Develop and execute strategic maintenance plans, including lifecycle planning, equipment overhauls, and capital improvement initiatives.
• Manage procurement, testing, and commissioning of new equipment, components, and spare parts, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
• Maintain detailed records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including work orders, asset histories, and maintenance KPIs.
• Train and mentor team members on proper equipment operation, maintenance techniques, and safety protocols.
• Safely remove or decommission obsolete machinery and install new production or facility equipment in line with engineering specifications.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and other relevant safety and industry codes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or heavy equipment maintenance in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial facility.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, automation, and PLC-based equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems, interpret technical drawings and schematics, and resolve equipment issues independently.
• Experience using CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities and generate reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to generate and analyze performance data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
