Shipping & Receiving
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shipping & Receiving to assist with daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that involves shipping and receiving, building pallets, loading and unloading materials, and operating a forklift. The ideal candidate is comfortable staying active throughout the workday and performing more than just forklift duties.
Duties
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and verify shipping paperwork.
- Build, wrap, label, and stage pallets for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment as needed.
- Pull, stage, package, and organize materials.
- Assist with inventory and keeping the warehouse organized.
- Perform general warehouse and physical labor as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
Requirements
- Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required; certification is a plus.
- Comfortable building pallets and performing physical warehouse work.
- Must be willing to perform hands-on tasks and not only operate a forklift.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
