Position Summary

The Sales & Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and driving revenue growth for the staffing agency. This role blends strategic outreach, consultative selling, and ongoing relationship management to deliver workforce solutions that meet client needs. Success requires strong communication skills, persistence, and a deep understanding of staffing services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition — Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and in person visits.

  • Account Management — Build long term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Needs Assessment — Meet with hiring managers to understand workforce challenges and recommend tailored staffing solutions.

  • Sales Presentations — Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly communicate value.

  • Pipeline Development — Maintain an active pipeline of prospects using CRM tools; track outreach, follow ups, and deal progress.

  • Collaboration With Recruiting — Partner with recruiters to ensure client needs are met quickly and accurately.

  • Market Research — Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and local labor market conditions.

  • Contract Negotiation — Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements aligned with agency goals.

  • Performance Reporting — Provide regular updates on sales activity, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
