Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a leading steel manufacturing company in Navasota, TX. This position is a great opportunity to gain permanent long term employment with a company that provides training, competitive pay, and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:

Monitor billets by count, heat code, and serial number.
Check forgings for proper work scope and ensure they meet order specifications.
Train inspectors regularly.
Maintain all paperwork for the department.
Audit manufacturing areas to ensure adherence to all quality management systems procedures.

Job Requirements

Must be able to work rotating day/night shifts.
Must have experience performing a variety of quality and measurement tests on steel parts.
Must be able to operate forklifts, manipulators, and various measuring instruments.
Must be able to make close tolerance measurement's quickly and accurately.
