We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our industrial manufacturing team. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining mechanical and/or hydraulic press machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate press machines (manual, hydraulic, or mechanical) to form or shape metal and other materials
• Set up equipment, including loading dies, adjusting settings, and aligning materials for each production run
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or production schedules
• Perform routine maintenance on press equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards
• Log production data and ensure accurate recordkeeping
• Assist in other areas of the production floor as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience operating press machines in a manufacturing environment (1+ years preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints and use standard measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with progressive dies or CNC press machines
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and safety protocols
• Forklift or overhead crane experience a plus
