Job Description

Job Opening: Drawing Machine Operator

Location: Conroe, TX

Shift: AM | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay: $14–$15 per hour

Position Summary

The Drawing Machine Operator will set up, maintain, and operate drawing machinery to ensure continuous, efficient production. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and teamwork. The goal is to keep production running smoothly while maximizing quality and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Set up drawing machines per specifications

Monitor & adjust tension, speed, alignment

Load raw material into machines

Unload finished products and prep for next stage

Inspect products with calipers, micrometers, gauges

Identify & report defects or irregularities

Ensure products meet tolerances and finish standards

Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, adjustments)

Troubleshoot mechanical issues & coordinate repairs

Record production data, downtime, material usage

Report malfunctions & safety concerns

Experience

Minimum: 2+ years operating manual machines in a heavy manufacturing setting

Preferred: Experience with drawing machines equipment

Language

Fluent in English (first language) & Spanish

Computer Skills

Basic proficiency
