Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging product to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment. This includes handling, inspecting, and packing product profiles in a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, dependable, and committed to following safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect product for defects, surface imperfections, and dimensional inaccuracies.
• Packaging: Pack product using protective materials (e.g., wraps, straps, crates) to prevent damage during transit.
• Material Handling: Safely handle product using manual techniques or equipment like forklifts or cranes (training provided).
• Labeling and Documentation: Accurately label packages with product details and shipping instructions; complete paperwork or digital records.
• Equipment Operation: Operate packing machinery, banding tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized packing area following 5S principles.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with operators, quality control staff, and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.

• Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or packing environment is a plus
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely - Up to 50lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Must be reliable and work well in a team setting
