Job Description

Lab Technician needed in Willis, TX for a well-established organization.

Requirements:

Perform validation tests on electromechanical products.
Design fixtures, set up tests, troubleshoot and maintain test-lab equipment such as test-system relay (timers and electrical), electro-pneumatic solenoids/valves etc.
Ability to write and modify existing PLC (Siemens, Datalogic, Allen Bradley etc.) testing programs to suit test requirements
Two (2) years of laboratory experience in electronics or Electro-Mechanical technology (one year of which included plc programming and electro-mechanical functional-wiring at system level)
Assemble/Build test-fixtures for various test plans according to the direction the Product Engineering Department and or Lab Manager
Ability to read and follow specs and electrical drawings
Analyzes and interprets test data
Troubleshoots problems on laboratory equipment and electronic instruments; performs, repairs or obtain repair of equipment and instruments from outside sources and records all actions in appropriate logbook for each piece of equipment and instrument

Payrate--$20-$22 / DOE
