Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team. The QC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards by conducting tests, inspections, and audits. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with internal specifications, industry regulations, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Document and analyze test results using standard quality tools and procedures.
- Identify deviations from specifications and report findings to appropriate departments.
- Maintain accurate and organized QC records and documentation.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment according to manufacturer and internal guidelines.
- Assist in investigations of non-conforming products and support root cause analysis.
- Work with cross-functional teams (production, R&D, QA) to resolve quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
- Follow safety and environmental regulations in all aspects of the job.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing laboratory environment.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP) is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, data entry software).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and SOPs.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- May involve standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working in various temperature conditions.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the setting.
- Some shifts or overtime may be required based on production schedules.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to work near and with potentially hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to read and write clearly, as well as add, subtract, multiply, and divide proficiently
- Must be familiar with the usage of fractions, decimals, percentages, and unit conversion
- Must be able to lift, move, push, and pull at least 25 lbs.
