Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Location: Bryan, Tx
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on commercial. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring all work is compliant with national and local electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting systems.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine electrical system installation procedures.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify faulty components or circuits.
  • Perform inspections on electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
  • Ensure safe work practices and comply with all OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  • Provide mentorship and training to apprentices and less experienced electricians.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any defects.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed, working outside of normal hours if required.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician License and Valid Driver License
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
  • Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of electrical codes (NEC), safety standards, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Skills:
    • Strong electrical wiring, installation, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools safely.
    • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined or high places.
    • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on different types of job sites.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of five years experience in commercial setting
  • Must have valid Journeyman's License
  • Must have Valid Driver License
