Job Description
Responsibilities For FCAW Welder:
- Perform welding on various metal components and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including power tools and machinery
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as pipe threading, machining, or operating a press brake machine
Skills For FCAW Welder:
- Proficient in mig/flux welding techniques and practices
- Ability to assemble, weld, and fabricate metal components according to specifications
- Knowledge of machining principles and techniques for precise measurements and cuts
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and forming processes
- Competency in operating a forklift for material handling purposes
Pay rate for FCAW Welder is $20-$24 hr.
