Job Description
Data Entry Specialist Responsibilities
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
- Type in data provided directly from customers
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data entry
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Work front reception desk in addition to high levels of Data Entry to include answering busy telephone system, directing guests coming in and out of facility, and holding the director of first impressions for the entire company.
Data Entry Specialist Skills
- Proven experience as a recent Receptionist and/or data entry clerk (REQUIRED)
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
- Basic understanding of databases
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail
- Prior Receptionist Skills
- High levels of customer service skills
- Ability to type more than 10,000 KPH
- High school degree or equivalent
Data Entry Specialist Salary: $16-$17.00 per hour DOE
