CUSTOM PROJECTS CRAFTSMAN

Kingwood, TX | $20.00–$25.00/HR DOE | AM SHIFT

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime may be required based on production demands.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Custom Projects Craftsman to join an Architectural Millwork Department. This position is ideal for someone with strong commercial millwork experience who enjoys building custom, one-of-a-kind projects.

The successful candidate will fabricate, assemble, and install high-quality architectural millwork while working closely with the Custom Projects team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble custom architectural millwork and specialty projects.
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and production documents.
  • Safely and efficiently operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
  • Perform custom fitting, laminating, solid surface fabrication, and final assembly.
  • Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout fabrication.
  • Assist with solving fabrication challenges and meeting project deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist with packaging and loading completed projects as needed.
  • Follow all OSHA and workplace safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial architectural millwork or casework experience preferred.
  • Experience working with laminate, hardwood, veneer, solid surface, and custom fabrication.
  • Ability to read shop drawings and work independently.
  • Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
