Job Description
CNC Programmer/Machinist needed in Magnolia, TX!
Duties for CNC Programmer:
- Set up and operate CNC vertical mill machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to complete the job
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or programs as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Skills For CNC programmer:
- Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Experience with lathe operations, milling machines, and plastics injection molding
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Familiarity with tooling concepts and practices
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software for creating or modifying designs
- Experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for quality control purposes

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
