Job Description

Staffing Texas is looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist for a machine shop in Conroe, Texas!

Requirements for CNC Machinists:

*Operate CNC lathes, including loading of parts, operating controls, and inspecting parts for conformance to company and customer specifications, policies, and procedures.

*Study and interpret drawings, shop manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

*Must possess basic math skills, including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication and division in all units of measure, including proficiency with geometry and trigonometry for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.

*Must have strong command of blueprint reading including an understanding of engineering drawings and customer specifications.

*Must have a working knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used for machining.

*Must be able to lift 35 pounds consecutively

*Must have 3 year’s experience operating CNC lathes specifically Mazak

Pay: From $19-$22.50 per hour / DOE
