Job Description

An ASE painter's job description includes:

Preparing surfaces: Cleaning and preparing surfaces to ensure paint sticks properly
Filling dents and scratches: Using body filler to fill small dents and scratches
Color blending: Blending colors into adjacent panels
Mixing paint: Mixing paint according to specifications
Applying paint: Applying paint using a sprayer or brush
Quality inspection: Inspecting painted units for quality
Estimating costs: Preparing cost estimates for labor and materials
Adhering to safety rules: Adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Staying up to date: Staying up to date with industry trends and techniques
Communicating: Communicating effectively with other teams in the dealership
Maintaining a clean work area: Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Some physical requirements for an ASE painter include:

Being able to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and pull
Carrying and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
Performing repetitive motions
Having visual acuity for color matching

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
