Job Description

NOW HIRING: Experienced Dispatcher – Telecommunications Industry

Location: Conroe, TX

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: 40–50 hours/week | Rotating shifts, 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Training: 2 weeks | In-office | 7 AM–4 PM or 8 AM–5 PM (includes weekend availability)

Key Responsibilities:

Balance dispatch load throughout the day to ensure technician efficiency and meet customer expectations

Monitor and update service orders, tickets, and miscellaneous requests in the system

Maintain real-time communication with technicians and supervisors via phone, email, or IM

Adjust technician shifts, dispatch areas, and workload distribution as needed

Coordinate with various departments (Central Office, Engineering, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure smooth operations

Provide accurate status updates to customers and place courtesy calls for delays

Handle emergency cable locates and business-critical dispatch coordination

Qualifications & Skills:

High School diploma or GED required

Proven dispatch or telecommunications experience strongly preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Mathematical competency (basic calculations, percentages, ratios)

Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills

Ability to stay calm and make fast decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Computer literacy: Typing speed of 7,000 KPH required

Knowledge of Prism, Oracle, and Microsoft Office a plus

Must be able to work holidays and flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
