Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Conroe, TX
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant provides support to the Office Manager and administrative staff. Under general supervision, this role performs routine and complex administrative and accounting-related tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently as well as within a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls and greet visitors; route calls and/or visitors as needed

Open and distribute mail

Scan, file, and maintain electronic documents

Schedule public relations events and order supplies

Order office supplies and printer toner as needed

Schedule meetings and events and make travel arrangements

Coordinate arrangements for meetings, banquets, retirement parties, receptions, etc.

Assist with accounts payable tasks

Assist with uniform orders and inventory tracking

Assist with website maintenance and updates
-
Perform other duties as required
Minimum Training and Experience:
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Five (5) or more years of experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
Qualifications:
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)

Experience with QuickBooks Desktop required; basic accounting knowledge

Experience working with Adobe/PDF documents

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills
-
High attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numbers

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
