HVAC Technician
Job Description
We are looking for HVAC Technicians! These positions will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning systems, ventilation systems, and related equipment in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently, including cleaning, changing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
- Diagnose and repair faulty HVAC systems, including identifying problems in the wiring, ductwork, thermostats, or other system components.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify issues with HVAC systems and recommend solutions to clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring client satisfaction with the services provided.
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet local building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and any issues encountered. Complete work orders and service logs.
- Keep track of tools and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and organized. Order parts and materials as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA certification is a plus, but not required
- 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing. Knowledge of how to use diagnostic equipment.
- The ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and repair HVAC system issues efficiently.
- Ability to clearly explain issues, solutions, and recommendations to customers.
