Job Title: Yard Helper – Pipe Company
Location: Texas
Pay Rate: $16.50–$17.50 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience)

About the Role:
Staffing Texas is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Yard Helper to support a pipe company in daily yard operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and values teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving:

   • Process inbound materials and ensure accurate documentation.
   • Remove and properly dispose of packing and shipping materials.
   • Verify and document heat numbers and other identifiers on incoming materials.
   • Measure and record pipe lengths and verify against bills of lading and mechanical test reports.
   • Enter pipe details into the SAP system using an iPad.
   • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the yard and shipping areas.

2. Inventory Maintenance:

   • Update and maintain inventory stock locations in the SAP system.
   • Make necessary updates or corrections and verify material information.

3. Shipping:

   • Locate and tag stock materials for shipment.
   • Assist forklift operators during loading and unloading by "spotting."
   • Document all outbound materials using an iPad with SAP by taking pictures and scanning barcodes.

Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management systems, preferably SAP, is a plus.
• Ability to measure and document data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capable of working in outdoor yard environments.
• Comfortable using technology, such as iPads, for data entry and documentation.
