Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our team. The Lube Tech is responsible for performing routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and filter replacements. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on a variety of vehicles
- Check and top off all fluids (coolant, transmission, power steering, brake)
- Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades
- Rotate tires and inspect tire condition and pressure
- Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings to service advisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations
- Assist other technicians and perform additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an automotive or mechanical service environment
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Comfortable working in hot or cold environments, depending on season
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive, heavy equipment, diesel service.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Must have a clean background and motor vehicle record
- Must be 21 or older for insurance purposes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with oil changes, multipoint inspections, and general maintenance tasks is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
